Summer Program Director Job Opening!!

Summer Program Director: Responsible, but not limited to, planning, developing, designing, supervising and carrying out the summer camping ministry at Luther Heights Bible Camp. This ministry includes the summer on/off-site program, day camp, servant events and retreat ministry. It is essential that the Program Director emulate Luther Height's mission and vision while providing positive public and church relations. Most importantly the Program Director must have a heart and passion to work with youth and adults in an outdoor Christian community.

Employment Opportunities:

Assistant Program Director: Be a vital part of the summer leadership team, serving as a support to counselors and assisting in running the onsite program. You will also get the opportunity to lead off–site Day Camp programs. Must be 21 years old.

Counselors: Live in a cabin or on the trail with campers for a summer that you will never forget! Be part of a vibrant Christian community, share your faith with campers and live in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains.

Assistant Cooks: Work under the direction of the Head Cook in food preparation. Salary is competitive and negotiable according to experience.

Nurse: If you are a trained medical professional, M.D., P.A., or R.N. we would like to invite you to spend a week or two at camp. Your knowledge and expertise in the medical field is very important and ensures the health of and safety of our campers. You will be called to duty throughout the week dispensing medications and taking care of campers. Outside of the busy times, you will be able to experience the spirit that makes Luther Heights the special place it is. You will get to enjoy daily fellowship, be a part of an energetic Staff, and you will probably even be able to sneak in some reading, time for a hike, or playing games with campers. The nurse position is being filled primarily by nurses for a week at a time. If you are able to assist your child can register for camp for free or compensation is offered.

Maintenance Person: Luther Heights is looking for adults who would be willing to donate a few days or more this summer to assist with the Maintenance Needs at the Camp. Come and experience the excitement and fellowship of a week at LHBC this summer.
