Volunteering is a great opportunity for you to live out a concern for others, share the Gospel story of Jesus Christ, and to develop many lasting friendships with others who share the desire to give of themselves in a Christian Camping environment.
If you desire to be a part of a Christian community and to be a role model to youth, we would love to have you be a part of our staff!
Resource Pastors, Associates in Ministry and Youth Leaders
Pastors, AiMs, paid and volunteer youth leaders are invited to participate in our programs. Join the youth from your congregation during a week that significantly impacts their lives. Lead a devotion, assist in worship, or participate in Bible Study. Most importantly, you will be at camp with kids! Bringing camp home can be challenging. Help your youth bring their faith back down the mountain and into your congregation. Contact Eric Olsen , Camp Pastor/Director, for more information.
Nurse: If you are a trained medical professional, M.D., P.A., or R.N. we would like to invite you to spend a week or two at camp. Your knowledge and expertise in the medical field is very important and ensures the health of and safety of our campers. You will be called to duty throughout the week dispensing medications and taking care of campers. Outside of the busy times, you will be able to experience the spirit that makes Luther Heights the special place it is. You will get to enjoy daily fellowship, be a part of an energetic Staff, and you will probably even be able to sneak in some reading, time for a hike, or playing games with campers. The nurse position is being filled primarily by nurses for a week at a time. If you are able to assist your child can register for camp for free or compensation is offered.
Maintenance Person: Luther Heights is looking for adults who would be willing to donate a few days or more this summer to assist with the Maintenance Needs at the Camp. Come and experience the excitement and fellowship of a week at LHBC this summer.
