Work Weekends
Join in fellowship with others as you help in a myriad of tasks. All talents and skills are needed with a healthy dose of elbow grease. Join in worships and singing time around the campfire. You may even take time for some fishing or a nap.
Never been to Luther Heights before? Do you have a child who is unsure about coming to camp on their own? This is a perfect weekend to “check out camp” together as a family. It could help both parent and child ease into a great summer camp experience.
Who: Work Weekends are for everyone!
When: The program is offered during the summer months. See program schedule for dates.
Schedule: Here is a brief snapshot of the schedule:
Work weekends generally begin the Friday night, whenever you can arrive at camp. Work projects are varied and require all levels of skill — they mostly require rolled up sleeves and elbow grease. This is a family–friendly opportunity to come to camp. Kids work side–by–side adults, taking play breaks, of course.
Cost: We happily provide you with food and lodging in thanksgiving for your work!
