Jon Francis Race

The Jon Francis Race to Lake Alturas is a 5k race organized in memory of Jon Francis, a counselor at Luther Heights Bible Camp, who died while hiking on Grand Mogul in 2006. Money raised from the race will be donated to Luther Heights Bible Camp and the Jon Francis Foundation.

This race is limited to 100 runners. DONATIONS are welcome and gladly accepted.

The race course is relatively flat with small stretches on unpaved and undeveloped roads and trails.

Packet Pick-up
Race packets will be available for pick-up on Saturday, August 13, 2011 starting at 9:00 am at the race start area at Luther Heights Bible Camp.

Food, water, and awards will be available at the Luther Heights Lodge after the race.
