Week Schedule
1st day:
Registration is between 2:00pm–5:00pm. (You can request your own cabin or request specific cabin mates.) After dinner that evening, we will sing songs, take a tour of camp, and welcome everyone to camp with an orientation and introductions of staff members. We will talk about the days ahead and provide additional options for the week. At the close of the day, we will gather around the campfire for evening worship. After worship there is time for snacks and fellowship in the lodge.
2nd and 3rd day:
Breakfast begins each morning at 8:00 a.m. followed by singing on the back deck of the main lodge. Worship follows breakfast and is held in the outdoor chapel, the meadow, or one of many other beautiful spots at Luther Heights. Bible study follows worship. At this time the kids will break off and go with a counselor and other kids their age, while adults will meet with the key note speaker of the weekend.
After lunch each day, activities are offered by the Luther Heights staff. Activities include: arts and crafts, archery, canoeing, biking, games, tie-dye, and hiking and more. Nap time or relaxation can also be taken advantage of during this time. At 4:00 p.m. the counselors will offer to spend time with kids so parents can have a few hours to themselves.
Each evening will include an activity inspired for the entire family! Following this time we will conclude with worship around the campfire. S’mores are known to show up every now and again after worship, so keep an eye out!
4th day:
Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by Bible study and packing. Closing worship is right before lunch at 12:00 p.m. A video of the week is shown following lunch. Following the video families begin saying their good-byes.
